To ensure a disciplined, respectful, and conducive learning environment, all students of G.K.R.M. Public School must adhere to the following rules and regulations:

General Conduct

• Students must maintain discipline and behave respectfully with teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
• Use of abusive language, fighting, or bullying is strictly prohibited.
• Damaging school property or writing on walls and furniture will result in strict disciplinary action and a fine.

Attendance and Punctuality

• Students must attend school regularly and be punctual.
• A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in examinations.
• Leave must be taken with prior permission. In case of illness, a written application from parents must be submitted with a medical certificate (if applicable).

Uniform and Appearance

• Students must wear the prescribed school uniform, clean and neatly ironed, on all working days.
• Nails must be trimmed, hair must be neat, and no fancy hairstyles or accessories are allowed.
• Identity cards must be worn daily.

Academics and Homework

• Students must complete all homework and classwork on time.
• Textbooks, notebooks, and stationery must be brought regularly as per the timetable.
• Cheating or unfair means during exams will lead to disqualification.

Mobile Phones and Gadgets

• Mobile phones, cameras, or electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited on school premises.
• If found, the item will be confiscated and only returned to parents after inquiry.

Library and Lab Use

• Silence must be maintained in the library.
• Books must be handled with care and returned on time.
• Labs must be used responsibly under teacher supervision.

Transport Rules

• Students using school transport must follow the instructions of the driver and transport in-charge.
• Misbehavior in the school vehicle may result in suspension of transport facility.

Disciplinary Action

• Violation of school rules may result in warnings, detention, suspension, or expulsion depending on the severity of the offense.
• Parents will be informed of any serious misconduct.

Note to Parents

• Regularly check the student’s diary and school app for updates.
• Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
• Encourage their child to follow the rules and maintain discipline.
